Cute park for the family! You can walk by the beach shore and there are plenty of benches to enjoy the view. There is a small shore where children can swim and look for seashells. There are a bunch of small trails to walk. And there is a large playground. Definitely recommend visiting but bring your bug spray! And a light jacket since even on a warm day there is a sea breeze.
This park had a few mild walking trails and some more strenuous trails with slick rocks in the rain. It was super cool to go walking in with my wife and my vizsla. We can now say we've touched both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans.
Its a gem that really surprised me. Plenty of free parking, a small hidden beach and stunning view, my God! Kids can just play in the ground, while you can just watch them sitting under the tree shade. The beaches are really cute but literally family sized!
Most amazing park I've been to in my travels. Pass the swing ser and the baseball field and BAM, the beautiful ocean with amazing picture quality views! I sat on the rocks, breathed in the sea salt filled air, and my anxiety exhaled into the Atlantic. If your visiting Glouster, this is a must stop!
A nice place to visit in Gloucester. Picnic areas for adults & kids to relax & enjoy. Too bad they require in order to park, 'advanced reservations'. This has to be a great disappointment to travelers who are drawn to the beauty of the ancient & famous ocean town & large rolling hills of the park. Can't something be done to make it more equatable for folks coming here by mere chance? That's often what happens as folks drive up the coast.
