Nice level site at B-50. Quiet campground, clean bathrooms and showers. Rangers were so nice and helpful with information about the campground, area safety and best ways to tour DC.
Its a campground with a lot green, only problem its enclosed by the busy roads you dont see but hear.nnIt is monitored by a ranger and he checks if you have reserved your spot up front through the website there is no office to this in person.nnSites are decent and you have a bit of room from your neighbours.nnShowers and toilets are ok, the shower is in the same room as the toilets and you have no door ro close.nnIts a good fall out base to visit washington, at our arrivel the green line was in repairs (else you can walk to the subway)and we took the camper to the orange line where you can park with an rv thats not longer the 20 feet
The park is really nice with walking trails etc. We camped here for 8 days whilst we visited Washington, Baltimore and Annapolis. The location is ideal for visiting all 3 of these city's
Nice trails we walk our dog there a lot he enjoys it, except when we see a few deer he wants to chase them. He got away from us once and he went off chasing one. But came back 5 min later. Nice place to camp as well can't bet $20 a night if your into that.
Really nice oasis in between Baltimore and DC. Older park, small roads, tight turns, dump station was especially tight. But they have potable water at random spigots, clean bathroom s, hot showers, hot water to wash hands. Small visitor center, but volunteer s were helpful!. Lots of trees, so shaded every where, but in March when we were here we got plenty of sun for our solar. Trails are open, many trees down from storm last year. It's a biggish park, plenty of privacy, feels very safe.
