From the first time I walked in the door, Tina made me feel welcome and appreciated! I'm still learning my way around the gym. I came from a CrossFit lifestyle so it's different but I can still do what's familiar to me. It's such a hidden gem, I'm happy I found it!!
Look no further if your searching for a gym in your area. Excellent facility complete with a plethora of free weights and machines for every body building or powerlifting program.nnExcellent value, only $20 for a week pass.nnTina, the owner, is awesome and is present at the gym every day. I enjoyed getting to know her.nnThe atmosphere is awesome, metal, grunge, and hardrock is always playing at the perfect volume throughout the gym. There is even a kitchen where you can purchase a cheap $1 cup of coffee, protein shake, or preworkout drink. This is no commercial gym. If you want to make gains come here and workout.
This is the best gym that I have ever been a part of. Every other gym I have tried has somehow tried to screw me over and take more money, even while offering fewer services. Yard Time is set up in a way that sometimes feels like you have your own private gym area, which I prefer over the big chain gyms that treat every person like they are a walking wallet. Tina (The Boss) is cool and straight to the point, and every person I've encountered has been extra friendly. It's like being a part of an exclusive club that a lot of people don't know about. I try to tell all my friends about this gym, because having the freedom to stop the payments at any time relieves any stress I have with regard to financial planning.
Amazing place!! We came here as vacationers and paid for a day pass for a reasonable price! An awesome amount of equipment, me and my boyfriend had an amazing time here! The people working are very informational about the equipment! We personally loved the iron plates!! If you’re looking for a gym in the shallote/holden area this is a perfect small business to support and get a good lift in!!
Gym has everything you need to have a complete workout. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
