Gozalandia Waterfalls Campground Reviews

Kristy Daniels review for Gozalandia Waterfalls Campground
Small hike up to the private waterfall is very muddy and slippery! Use the walking sticks provided by the guide or this hike could be dangerous. Area around the waterfall is very rocky as is the bed of the swimming area. Plan to wear full cover water shoes to help navigate the uneven and rocky ground under the water. There is a dropoff where the water gets very deep but the majority is shallow and good for kids. Also prepare to sign waivers for each member in your group. Overall this was a good experience with lots of great photo opportunities.

We took the less rocky hike.nnBring ideal shoes for water and for hiking.nnWe came at 2pm on a weekend and it was no crowded.nnYou can bring drinks, inflatables and make sure you use the bathroom by the restaurant by the parking lot because there is nothing once you arrive by the water.nnThe restaurant had good food. Not cheap but it’s there just in case.nnParking was $10

Absolutely gorgeous! Highly recommend!!!! I’ve come here twice, both times with my kids. There’s an area of the river where it’s very shallow and my kids enjoyed just walking on the rocks and seeing little fish swim around. As you get closer to the waterfall it gets much deeper, so my 4 and 6 year old kept their floaties on and were able to get pretty close! There’s people that climb to the top and jump into the water which I believe was mentioned goes up to 35 feet deep in one area and about 10 feet deep in another. It’s absolutely beautiful and so easy to get to! With a paved path, and a concrete staircase bringing you all the way to the bottom! Plus parking!!!! Highly recommend!
