Friendly staff but the experience was not worth it. Went there the other day and got a day pass for 2 with gear. Half the climbing areas were restricted. And the areas that weren’t we had to constantly wait. Employees were climbing, classes were being taught, and there was no space. Looked online after and saw the price and realized we got charged for more. We were barely there 40 minutes. Save your time and save your money.
Solid place. The routes are great and are well kept and maintained. They often change them from day to day. They have a complimentary gym that is available whenever you buy the day pass, and it’s pretty solid too. The boulders are easily ranked and not too hard. We used Climbing New Heights as our guide service to climb Seneca Rocks. Phil, our guide, was an absolute pleasure to climb with. We learned so much and felt like we were in good hands the whole time. If you're looking for a great climbing guide, look no further! Thanks for everything Phil!
I used to go there before covid and some during . Heads up if your an avid outdoor climber don't tell the locals there !! You'l get cold shouldered . Staff is friendly but the local users are not very social unlike the gyms in surrounding areas . Plus they only open @4pm limiting the venue of people who ( could ) utilize the gym . Because of the 4pm , I climb out doors & at gyms 2x as far away like Sterling /Alexandia . 1hr + drive .
Very nice gym. The staff is friendly and helpful. We were in town away from our normal gym and had a great time climbing here
