very cute park. small, but has a long field for walking and dog walking. the playground is nice and well kept. there are several picnic tables around in the shade. there are also a few pokestops if you play pokemon go!
There’s a lot of room to move around. The field is enormous, you could play any sport you wanted. There’s also a dedicated baseball diamond. There’s a jungle gym playground area and several picnic tables. Around the edge of the field, there are benches tucked in beneath the trees. It’s easy to find a private place to read your book or just be alone.
We love this park! It is where I take my son daily for some outdoor fun and activities. They have picnic tables, benches, playground, ball field and beautiful scenery! Great park to come and get peace and quiet, also, as it is very serene.
Very much a case of an OK park that is rather heavily neglected and feels very much like an afterthought.nnI say this since the playing fields are in a drainage basin so having them as playing fields as well shows good thinking for a multiuse space. But the playground and park structures are not in good shape.nn-There are pieces missing from the climber, nothing to cause danger but it just looks uncared for.nn-There is no swing set. Something that is essential to any playground it seems.nn-The park benches and picnic tables are starting to disintegrate if they are not doing that already.nn-There is no functional water fountain. Though there is a non functional one. This may be due to a health and safety reason but there was no notice.nnBut aside from that it's not bad just it seems the city needs to put more money to fix it and make annual maintenance a priority.
I like to take my kids here 3M and 1M. Small space but perfect for kids. Easy to park with a nice shady tree to park the car
