Clean, neat park along the Catawba River in Belmont. Sadly, the River was way down on our visit. The playground is great and we’ll kept. The public dock is nice but currently high and dry.

It is a small and cute park. If you have younger kids this is a good place to have them play. If you like to run or walk small places, this is a nice park, they have a small track that surrounds the play area and parking lot. The dock that leads out into the river is a nice place to fish, set out on a kayak, do Tai chi or just sit in a swing and relax. Make some new little friends too.

Cleaned beautiful park. It was great to sit and enjoy looking at the river. There are swings for sitting, looking over the river, and a children's playground.

We have relatives residing near this park. When looking for parks for our granddaughter, we chose this park and a couple of others to try. We were very impressed with the cleanliness, serenity, and adventurous opportunities at Kevin Loftin River Park. The playground was very clean, consisting of soft ground making it very safe for very young children to run around and play without getting hurt, etc. The adults can walk around a beautiful lake/river across from the playground. Great park!
Really nice area. It has a great dock with nice views and cool bench swings to hang out on.nThere is also a nice walking path and a couple of shelters to have picnics or gatherings.
