Nice park, multiple soccer fields. Attended Bird Day Bash soccer tourney..get family day with food and vendors. Wonderful event and fun, fast soccer style, we are lokking forward to next years tournament!
It's a decent little Park. They mowed in the appropriate places so you can walk around the pond. Lots of mosquitoes in the shade. Nice book borrowing mini library by the pond. There's a soccer field with two portapotties. There is a decent children's play area (preschool age 5 to age 10 probably). Picnic tables by the play area I think that's about it. They were working on the parking lot by the kiddie play area. Maybe they are expanding.
I’m from Mathews and I moved to Gloucester back in November and I had never heard of this place until I came across it on Gloucester’s parks and rec site. It is the cleanest, prettiest park in the whole county! I love the pond with the native plants and there’s so much open green space! Most of it is used for soccer fields for local teams but there’s always plenty of space apart from that. It almost looks like it should have a campground, I’ve only been once so far but I’m in love!

Very cute and convenient park. I would love for the wooded trails and the garden to be expanded.
