Beautiful lakefront park with parking, picnic, restrooms, water, and even outdoor showers. Right on the Withlacochee trail, it's in an area with several parks and also serves as a trailhead for the trail in addition to the state trailhead just a bit north. There is also a boardwalk and walking trails throughout this area.
We ride with the Withlacoochee Bicycle Riders.every Tuesday.and Thursday. We start our rides from Wallace Brooks Park. I sometimes use the fitness equipment.
Beautiful, scenic, tranquil park , great history and wonderful place to walk , read a book , roller skate, stroll by a peaceful river or sit and look up at the beautiful sunset
Very nice park. Very nice area. The park runs into Liberty Park & then Cooter Pond park next to it. There is a nice boardwalk, cafe, bar and games there. We didn’t go into bar or cafe. But walked the trails and boardwalk. Very nice view.
