Town of Marion Community Pool

Had a birthday scheduled for my daughter at this pool three months in advance and was turned away on the day of the celebration. Town of Marion Pool was her first choice for her fifth birthday party and she was so excited. The day before the scheduled party I called the office to confirm and was informed everything was good to go. When I arrived to the party there was no staff present. So I called and spoke with the manager and was informed we were not scheduled for that day. The receipt that I had in my email had 8/12 on it and that was the day we were at the pool for the party. Unfortunately they were not able to get lifeguards on site so we were turned away. There was a group of 50 people that we had to scurry and find an alternative. To say my 5 year old was heartbroken is an understatement. When I followed up the next day I was met with apologies and no concessions. We live in a small town and I love promoting what little we have around here but we were wronged and was only offered an apology for our headache. Management needs to do better to prevent this from happening so we can encourage others to come here and enjoy.

I live the makeover they have done the slides are Soo much fun and my little girl loved the fountain it was definitely an improvement for some ages even adults all the way to tiny babies.. grand! Recommended too all!

I do recommend going here it have 3 diving boards and really nice workers

They just redid almost everything, it's amazing, they have two decent sized water slides, a new splash pad, and the inside of the pool is smooth so your feet don't get torn up, they also have a new patio area that have porch swings and its awesome for people who aren't getting in, overall a fantastic place to be and probably the best in the area.

Great pool, nice people its usually busy when we go though unfortunately.
