The Hive Rec Center

We had my granddaughters 3rd birthday party here. All of the children had a wonderful time. The party area is just right for a child's party with play areas to keep them entertained safely. They also played music to go with the theme of the party (Trolls). The restrooms are convenient and the other areas of The Hive are nicely maintained also.

Very clean, colorful, wonderful place for smaller kids to come and play! One of the best places for a child's birthday party! Plenty of room with up to 40 people to enjoy the festivities! The atmosphere is very welcoming, fun, very well maintained! Especially great for very cold, hot, or rainy weather! Has an awesome staff, and public restrooms! Will bring my kids here all the time! They absolutely loved it!

Honestly, this place is an okay place to have a birthday party. I recently had my daughter's party here and I was a little shocked after walking in. I thought this place was quite bigger with more things to do after looking at their pictures online. They have two decent size bounce houses, a smaller playground, a gated toddler area, and a few arcade games. You have to pay extra to play the arcade games too even after renting the facility out for a birthday party so that gets even more expensive. The people who own it are pretty friendly but they rush you out of there as soon as your party is over, even after feeding them a nice meal from the food we served. It says you get 30 minutes for setup and 30 minutes for cleanup but we were pretty much ran out of there 15 minutes after the party ended. As soon as your time slot is over, they deflate the bounce houses as well to get kids ready to leave. However, I did like the fact that we had the whole building to ourselves since there's the risk of Covid. I gave this place four stars because my daughter did have a great time but I just don't know if I'd have another party here since it does cost quite a bit.

Love this place. Great for kids birthday parties. They have bounce houses, foam pit for the smaller ones, arcade games, pool tables, and a jungle jim. They also have a great coffee bar for the adults with a variety of flavors and seasonal flavors. I recommend checking it out for the coffee, free play, or a party.
