Nice rock climbing facility in Chatham NJ. The course has several selections from beginners to advanced.nnStaff is very friendly and they make you feel welcome.nnWe booked for a birthday party and it was a blast. Kids and parents enjoyed it. Thanks Max and Jessie.
Overall, staff is friendly and the facility was clean and seemed to be a decent size. I don’t have much experience to compare it too. It’s connected to a tennis center, so be sure to park around back when you enter.nnI’m a beginner so I reserved a staff beley with a friend. Kiki was friendly and helpful. I plan to go back and possibly take a belay certification and make this my monthly activity.
Took my kids out to experience some rock climbing, but way too expensive even for the basic package and that doesn't even include having your child strapped to a harness with a bungee cord. Honestly how do they expect kids not to injure themselves, if they fall from a high point. I don't care how cushion the floor mats are a child is going to hurt themselves if they fall from that height. So after being there for 15 minutes my kids were already bored and tired so I would definitely avoid doing this just take your kids to the park instead it's free. 💯
Some of the photos on here must be old, they aren’t setting with tape anymore. Great gym with really interesting features on cement walls, including a crack, a chimney, and a full arch (all leadable!). The autobelays aren’t just for beginners, they set 5.8-5.12. Toprope belay is done with their Grigri which is always on the rope. Not 100% sure but this might be the kind of gym where you are supposed to lead with their Grigri and their rope. There are lockers but no showers. Weight room was modern and had 2 squat racks, free weights, moon board, fingerboards. Staff were very friendly and chill. They sell not only clothing and some climbing gear but also books. Be sure to park around back!

Decent albeit expensive climbing gym with a lot of routes. Walls are shorter than other climbing gyms in the area and the grading seems more generous and easier to climb relative to the rating. Parking is somewhat limited. Along with regular pricing their “discount” days are now pricey as well. Overall the gym is becoming way overpriced and represents a poor value.
