Sunrise Park Reviews
I love this park! It’s so peaceful, not crowded, marked trails (wear appropriate shoes) , dog friendly. Don’t tell anyone. Perfect leaf peeping foliage. I will definitely come back here !
About a mile long loop trail around the lake. Nice views but not the easiest walk, especially after rain it gets very muddy in some places. Bring good hiking boots. It's very rooty as well. Pretty much none of it is flat, and it's slippery if leaves are on the ground. The best time to hike it would be on a dry day in the spring or summer.
We love coming here! Very peaceful park! My mom used to bring us here when we’re kids during summer vacation so we can swim and jump from the floating platform. Years later I came here with my two kids and looks like the beach part is not getting any cleaning. The water is dirty and I wouldn’t really get in it. Although it’s still nice to come here to have a party, cookout in the picnic areas. The little playground is nice for the kids. I like that it is gated around with a locking door. Great for kayaking and hiking around the lake. We used to fish here but nothing big really comes around.
