This place is a mainstay of my youth and i love it 😀
Haven’t stopped here any time soon since I was in high school . I pass by it almost everyday though . Everything still looks to be in good shape . The baseball fields are really in great shape . Great place to stop by just to practice on the fields if they are open . The rec center used to let kids go in and play basketball . I don’t know if that’s still a thing or not . Hasn’t been a pool there in several years . That’s pretty much all their is to say .
The Rec has done a phenomenal job at sprucing the place up but there is very limited parking and no pool. The pool gave all the youngsters something to do during the summer, now baseball season coinsides with school leaving nothing to do during the summer months.

We have played rec league all basketball season and not had to pay to enter a game until 2/6/21 and we come to Summerville to play and upon entering the building we are made to pay and there are no concessions provided, the vending machines are empty and the facility is disgusting. If you are gonna require an entry fee at least clean the dang bathrooms and provide concessions or a full vending machine. Step it up
