My kids had an absolute blast at this unique water park. They did the obstacle course and wakeboarding, which was a perfect way to try something totally new and different on vacation.nnThe staff was laid back and friendly, which honestly concerned me at first. Would they take safety seriously? Yes. Yes. Yes. While very cool, they prioritized safety and made sure the kids (and adults) were never at risk.nnWe loved our time there and would absolutely come back. Price is very reasonable for what you get.
At 74 I'm not stable enuf to play on the equipment they had. But there was plenty of shady area for me to sit, talk, read a book or sit back with a cold drink an relax. They do serve alcohol. My daughter, her husband, a 15, 10 and 9 year old all had a blast jumping, climbing, diving an just making fools of themselves. 2 buildings, 1 to register an get life vest, salt drinks, ice cream and souvenirs. Bldg 2 restaurant and bar. Large an clean restrooms.nI saw survival type equipment in the trees an nature trails. But my legs wouldn't let me participate.

Kids loved it. Early Bird is a good deal. Water was clean sand warm. FWIW, my oldest kids would have liked a few harder challenges in the obstacle course. Either way, enjoyed the visit.
Fun time we went at the end of their day which would be recommended. Actually went back a 2nd day. I would suggest 2 hours plus not just 1. Assuming your kids have energy to burn.
TLDR: if you’re not already planning to go here, change your plans.nnShark wake park is a staple of my visits with my family to Myrtle Beach. It is the best place for kids, and keeps the adults entertained. The Jump Park is perfect for energetic kids and is lots of fun. The wakeboarding is the perfect challenge and balances the difficulty with lots of enjoyment and the pure happiness once successfully making it around your first turn or hitting an awesome jump. This place is a family tradition and will stay in our hearts for the coming years.
