Since I have lived on the south shore of Long Island most of my 74 years of life, being able to look out at the Great South Bay is such a part of who I am. I never get tired of this view - Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall
This playground was recently re done and is absolutely wonderful. It has many features that are accessible to persons with disabilities. It has all sorts of fun and creative play structures and areas. It is adjacent to the beach and tennis Court and has many seating areas and picnic benches. Also has bathrooms that I assume are open seasonally. Probably the most fun playground I've seen in a long time.
Great park, new. Bathrooms weren't open when I was there. But there was a port-a-potty which was clean. Great picnic areas under the trees. Nice sidewalk to trek around or bike around. Park was very close to the marina, which the kids love they were able to splash around in. Tennis courts are right next to the park. Very clean well, maintained.
My new favorite place, beach was so nice& warm, clean, decent ppl worth 5$for parking, live the view absolutely amazing
It's so beautiful and we did a noon picnic. All people there were so inviting and said Hello. Great setting and a very Clean environment! Also it's an incredible park for young kids. Very safe.
