Sawyer’s Fun Park Reviews
We had our daughters birthday here. The kids love it, of course, and our birthday hostess was awesome. The pizza was good as well. It was super easy for set up and breakdown as well. All in all great party. 👍
I've been twice now with my kids. Once on a Wednesday during Christmas break and once on a Saturday. If you can choose, go on Wednesday. The prices are cheaper and it is less crowded. We did the 3 hour unlimited pass on Wednesday and the kids got to do all of the activities except the arcade. We went back last weekend and they had just 1 hour and had trouble understanding that they couldn't do laser tag, rock climbing or the high ropes course. What I remember about getting food at Christmas break was that it was kind of expensive and took a long time to receive it after ordering. But that's been a while ago, so I'm not the best reference. They have 2 sets of cubby holes for shoes, so you don't have to use the ones to the right when you enter the door. There are many more storage places if you go past the laser tag down the hall. We took our own water bottles in and put them in the storage with our shoes to cut costs a little. I took a hole puncher and lanyards so I could cut a hole in each kid's arcade card and they could keep it on their neck. And a Sharpie marker to write their name. This worked much better than the first time when they left their cards laying here and there. The kids did have a lot of fun and an hour of jumping probably is enough to make most children tired.
This place is always fun & inviting. We went for my nephew's birthday & had a blast!!! He had an amazing, amazing, amazing time! Love this place & they have great deals as well just join their Facebook page.
We ordered food at 5:00 p.m. Two kids meals. No one in the restaurant. The desk person was eating and drinking. Apparently our food was just sitting in the window. Food was cold. Just stick to the arcade and jumping.nnEdit 7/24/23 649pm- I changed review to five stars because of quick response from owner. I come here all the time with the kids and we love this place. I just wanted someone to see the event that happened today and to make changes so that it does not happen again. Kathryn P was the person listed on receipt.
Very expensive. Took 6 kids. Cost $17 for an hour. Time stamp on the receipt was 4:20. Kids only got to jump till 5. So they took around 20min off their time.nKids said that the laser tag was worth it. That was $14 for half an hour. Pizza was $60 for 2 pizzas (1 cheese and 1 pepperoni) and 6 sodas. The pizza was really good though. We (the other mom and I) also got 2 chili dogs to split and that was almost $20.nTotal price for 2 hours was almost $285. So not counting what was paid for us. It was about $45 a child.nThey did nothing else because everything else there cost money too.nnEdit: In response to Sawyers Fun Park:nI would not be able to bring my kids on a school day. The price of an all day pass which does not include laser tag is $36 a person and only available Tuesday and Wednesday (according to your sign.) Great price if I am getting there when you open. Since I, like most people have a job and work till 5, I would not get there till almost 6:30 depending on traffic. (I would need time to change, pickup my kids, and I work in Goldsboro so drive time.) Assuming that you close at 9 that would give the kids 3 hours to do activities. Still have to pay $14 per child for Lazer tag. Still have to buy food. So my total per child would be $60 a child for 2.5hrs.nPaying more per child for an extra half hour, combined with my level of fatigue after a full day of work, plus then the 35 min drive home(we live in Kinston) it is not worth it.nI also noticed prices went up as of the first day of school. I also read the signs stating you are short staffed so longer wait times.nSo not only do I have to pay more since the kids are in school, but I also have to wait longer. (Kids lost 20min of play time because of this that was paid for. )nYour staff was nice. Facility was clean. Had no complaints except the price and loss of time.
