Sandhills Gymnastics Reviews
Sandhills Gymnastics was a second home for me while living in NC while my husband was stationed at Fort Bragg. The staff is SO nice, experienced, knowledgeable, and they really care.nnMy son started with the Parent and Me program at 18 months old and continued for almost 18 months until he started the Preschool program. Starting gymnastics at an early age greatly increased his physicality, confidence, and body awareness.nnI was so sad to have to move states and leave the Preschool program because he was having the time of his life. He started in the two year old class for 5 days a week with Miss Courtney and Miss Emma. They are very patient, kind, and understanding of two year olds. They did so many excellent arts and crafts projects and other learning activities but my favorite part about the program is that they do a gymnastics class every day so they have a great balance of learn and play.nnI also had quite a bit of firsthand experience with the gym and coaches myself. I was a former competitive gymnast in my youth and in 2015 started private tumbling classes with Coach James. I had not tumbled in 12 years but was able to relearn things quickly with Coach James' instruction.nnI had my son in 2016 and after recovering I decided to jump back into the gym again in 2018 but this time do competitive gymnastics after being out of the sport for 22 years.nnCoach Joel and Coach Kelly were very welcoming, understanding, and encouraging for me to accomplish this feat. It was an interesting experience being 34 years old and practicing 4 days a week with 8-13 year olds (and competing against them too) but it is something I will NEVER forget. I was very devastated to leave.nnI don't think owners, Coaches Jenny/James, and girls head Coach Joel and Coach Kelly will ever realized how much it meant to me that I was able to do competitive gymnastics once again on a truly competitive level as an adult with the younger girls. It's practically unheard of but they took a chance on me and I will be forever grateful for that time in the gym and getting a piece of my life back!! I accomplished a dream I didn't even know I had.nnI would strongly recommend anyone to take their classes and do their preschool program!! They have something for everyone.
We are a military family with a competitive gymnast and we’ve been members of 4 gyms over the years. Sandhills is my favorite gym of all- they are welcoming, affordable and offer fantastic coaches for both girls and boys. The competitive teams are very successful and yet the coaches still keep the sport fun and enjoyable for all the kids. The owners of the gym are super responsive to any questions/concerns you may have, and through careful planning and cleaning practices have managed to keep the gym safe and open during this crazy year of Covid. Highly recommend!
Love Sandhills Gymnastics, my daughter loves and and I’m hoping to get my son started soon. It’s so organized and they run a very clean gym.
Both our girls go here for team and pre-team and we have been very happy thus far! We came from another large gym, so we appreciate the smaller class sizes. The girls are all very kind and coaches are supportive!
We love Sandhills Gymnastics! My girls are learning skills that will help them be healty and fit for life. They are actively engaged the entire lesson and always have a great time. We've never had a bad experience with a coach, staff member or other families. The gym is constantly cleaned. Buisness is efficient, friendly and organized. We look forward to our gym time every week!
