Rustic Creek Family Campground Reviews
First time for us here. We came with our kids (5 plus friend) and dog. Honestly I have no complaints other than the wet wood to burn with.nKids had a great time with all they could do, us adults pretty much relaxed. All the other campers were friendly and welcoming.nOur dog loved all the pets he got from the other campers that would pet him.nKids already want to go back after they made some friends. We will be back next year and bringing friends with.nAgain thank you
We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day Labor Day weekend at Rustic Creek!! It was our first time here & we were blown away by the friendly staff & visitors, the kid friendly activities, the clean & refreshing pool and the amazing fireworks display! The food & drinks are delicious & fairly priced, the tent sites are very spacious, right on the creek & the bathrooms were clean. I highly recommend this place to everyone, especially families with kids! We’re already planning our next reservation.😃
If you want fair treatment do NOT stay here. They say they enforce rules but only to certain people. Speed limit is 5mph and yet no one is out there enforcing it so people are constantly speeding thru there with kids out playing. They complain that it is the seasonals fault that activities for the weekenders were canceled because seasonals didn’t participate.nnWe were staying there for work since March. Anyone who lives in a camper full time knows that it takes longer than a few hours to pack your camper up and you can’t pack it until the actual day you are leaving. Well this campground (even though we told them 3 times we were leaving on a Friday Night) proceeded to overbook our spot and then got angry because we weren’t out by check out which is 12pm. We were not weekenders or seasonals. We both work full time and worked the day we were pulling out. We have stayed at numerous campgrounds and this double booking has never happened. We paid $700/month plus electric, the highest campground around the area which is a rip off but they have now proven they are only in it for the money.nnThe owner Lisa also likes to post her feelings about campers on her personal Facebook page. So beware.nnManagement is awful, she will be nice to your face and talk right behind your back to the next person. She spread rumors about my child for something that happened when my child wasn’t even in the campground that week. When confronted she played stupid. I can tolerate a lot of things but talking about peoples children to others and double booking a spot that they very well knew (as much as they will deny it) we were not leaving until the evening Friday night is unacceptable. We will not recommend this place to anyone in the future.nnYou never showed us proof that my daughter carved her name in that jump pad. We looked for it and there was nothing so trying to look like the victim here is not going to work. I asked for video proof and you provided nothing. So until you can provide proof you should take this down as you are insinuating that a 9 year old defaced your property. If that was the case then why did we not get kicked out? Bunch of liars just trying to make your campground look good. We all know the truth.
Last year was the first time my family was here, and immediately we fell in love with this campground. We enjoyed it so much here that we decided to have my daughters birthday party here this year, it was beautiful and everyone had a blast. Despite any hiccups the staff and owners were wonderful and so very helpful. We stayed in the cabin which is so clean and comfy. Even with all the rain and mud, the kids loved playing in it, but the staff kept checking on us to make sure we were ok and if we needed anything not to hesitate. We all met so many new friends, this is definitely our goto family vacation. So thankful we found this amazing place!
I stayed here for the first time in April (Rain Showers). I enjoyed the stay in my 25' travel trailer pulled by my Suburban, (45+'). Didn't want to unhook, because my stay was limited. The owner was nice enough to exchange my initial site so I could easily park in a PULL THRU. It was across the road from the woman's bath area. Convenient for me because I'm in my 70's. I used the pool and frequented the on site store. Funny, I found things in there for my RV that I couldnt find in FL in Palm Beach, where I had just left. All in all. I was Relaxed. My animals were relaxed. It's a country setting. Which means dirt roads. Yes it rained. I sat outside under my canopy with a glass of wine. Yes there were puddles. But, isn't that what COUNTRY CAMPING is about? I am a Newbie with respect to HAULING a Travel Trailer. But not to camping. Had tents, and a 33' Motorhome. If your looking for comforts of home... Maybe you should get a Hotel for those that complain. I will return, staff was helpful and pleasant. TY
