Beautiful place to spend time for picnics, leisure or just even reading books. Lots of free parking all around. Just to inform that no swimming or diving is allowed.

I can’t believe I’ve only known about this place now. This is one of the best parks in CT we’ve visited so far. Beautiful river view from the boathouse balcony. Lots of trails leading to the river, huge ball fields, boat launch area, big children’s playground, very clean surroundings. People were sitting on a dock and just soaking their feet in the water. Very relaxing. There are kiosks with tables to sit, relax and eat. I didn’t see any picnic areas where you can grill… That would be nice to be able to just grill, eat with family and enjoy the view. But despite that missing piece, it’s an excellent place to relax.
This place has a little of everything from sporting fields, boating area, kids playground, restroom, walking paths, basketball court. Free parking. Beautiful sunsets.
Gated play area for children with 2 different separated section - one for 2-5yr old kids , another is for older ones. Additionally it has awesome river side view. You can sit hours to spend to watch the river and sky. Also there is option for boating too. I have heard the boat house is one of the beautiful destination for wedding. It must be with such a spectacular view. Overall it’s a very nice place to visit.
I love this park it's the best walk in all of glastonbury.
