The lake and the park is beautiful. It has a small beach, picnic areas, and cleaning sprinklers for the kids to enjoy and clean themselves after playing in the sand. The only downside are the bucket toilets which are not as clean as properly maintained ones! Maybe that's the reason why entry is still free at this place. Another observation is dog poop aren't picked up and are all over the park!

Nice park with beautiful views. We did paddle boating and canoeing in the lake. Great place for picnics.
Beautiful park not far from Davis Sporting Goods store, plenty of small trails to walk on and is dog friendly. I saw a couple of frisky snakes up in a tree, they may have been Black Rat Snakes which are not poisonous and will not bite unless you agitate them or accidentally step on them. There is a men’s and women’s restroom that is open until 4PM as posted on signage and there doesn’t seem to be a fee to enter the park at the moment. It is very clean with some beautiful scenery and some wildlife to observe. There is a large parking lot as well.
