Rady Park

This park is lovingly maintained by by the community. There is a nice playground for the kids, a large loop asphalt path around the park, and some field space and a baseball field for the kids too. A small stream runs through the path that you can enjoy from a few bridges that cross it. Sadly I have found some liter here but I think it has primarily been overflow from the picnic pavilion. More trash cans for this area may help. In the spring it usually has beautiful flowers planted.

We love this park for the babies. Whether you are there to play or to walk, there is plenty of space and there are plenty of fun things to do. It has been fully refurbished in the past few years, and it’s safe to let your kids run and play. My only complaint is there is very little shade for when it’s hot. Other than that, I highly recommend!

🌱The scenery around the park is lovely and in fact lots of photographers 📷 with families. There are places for events such as cookouts (grills and picnic tables) or just a place to contemplate and enjoy nature on a bench. For the kiddos or young at ❤️, loved the corked padded ground, great at providing cushioning for possible injuries, around the playground. Also, it's nice that the bathrooms aren't porta-johns, but instead well-maintained bathrooms. The walking path around the park creates sturdy ground for those of you on wheels.

We were traveling through on our way home to PA. It was a Pokemon Go Community Day and we chose to stop here on our way home so we could play and stretch our legs a bit. It was a wonderful park. Kids were at play on the playground and there were some family gatherings. This is staying on our list of places for break areas during our travels.

Rady Park is an absolutely lovely park in Warrenton! The parents and the kids are all so welcoming and friendly!!! I knew someone who recently passed in the Warrenton area. After their service, I visited this park from the recommendation of one of their family members. I got to play with several neighborhood kids on the play equipment and play games like tag and jump rope, which was an absolute blast. The entire neighborhood seems very welcoming, and they’re completely non-judgmental. Azalea, Leann, and Leanna are some of the awesomest kids I’ve ever met! JJ, remember to keep the boys away from your sisters! Haha. Happy 6th birthday, Leanna!!!!! Don’t worry too much about 1st grade; you’re smart as a tack. You can do anything you put your mind to. I look forward to hopefully playing with you guys in the future. Well.. If I’m ever in the area again. Maybe I’ll see you guys when you are much much bigger. I might not even recognize you guys if it’s been too long! Don’t forget me, please!!
