Nara Park Reviews
Its a great park all around! They have a nice field, plenty of parking, and an outdoor amphitheater. There are also a trail you can bike and walk on, and a beach! The park is a great place to walk a dog, have a picnic, and they have a playground structure for kids.
Love this place! Whether you park down the way and walk via the Bruce Freeman rail trail or happen to find a spot in their parking lot, it's always such a wonderful experience to walk around.nnEven if there's an event going on, there's plenty of room to have a picnic on your own - and actually, if there is then I'd highly recommend parking up or down the rail trail and making the trek to the park. It can get really congested around the area if there is something going on.nnIdeal picnic area. You can find a little nook on the grass or use one of their many, MANY picnic benches. Have a small birthday party? You'll be able to grab a group of tables.nnBut beware, if you happen to be coming during a high traffic time on the weekend then things fill up fast.
This park has a lot to offer with a small beach, playground area, a trail that loops around the lake, a volleyball court, and an outdoor performance space. The only downsides were I noticed a fair amount of litter and part of the trail is near a lumberyard.
Good beach for the grandchildren, some shade but gets filled up quickly . Multiple lifeguards, remember to say your a senior if you want a discount, I was charged full price and when I commented on the way your I was told too late to get refund. Wouldn't deter me from going back as it's local and we'll run.
Great ground and a very lively atmosphere. We were playing cricket but there were several volleyball courts and the ground was filled with people. There are a few small trails and a pond .There is also a snack shop in the parking lot. Parking is abundantly available for free.
