Living Memorial Park Reviews
I love this place. It has many different options. It used to be an old ski place, so there are different elevations. It's one of my favorite places in VT. Has some cool things to see a long the way on the course that was left from the ski place. This is a free course to play disc golf and has a swimming pool and other activities for locals. Wasn't busy when we went. Great for disc golf, hiking, and sightseeing. The grounds are kept very well.nThere are 3 holes that are out on the open field, and the rest are in the woods. The field can be somewhat wet mostly because of the rain or morning dew.n** Bring the bug spray
We love the playground here. It's very close to the parking lot - there are sidewalks to get to it from there (so stroller friendly walk to get there!).nnThe playground has a toddler structure and a bigger kid structure. Plus 6 baby/bucket swings and 6(?) regular swings! There's shaded spots to sit, benches, a shaded gazebo, and a picnic table. There is also a basketball court. Farther from the play structures, but still in same area, are a play jeep and train (bolted into place, don't move), and a Gaga ball pit.nnThere are two water fountains for drinking, and the bathrooms were open and clean when we went (Mid-May 2023). Needed paint, but seriously clean! Pictures attached.nnThis is also a spot with a pool, kiddie pool, and small splash pad (open in summer, costs to enter), and during the winter there's an ice rink farther up and possibly snow tubing or skiing or something! There are trails as well, farther up the hill.
What a wonderful park. Very well maintained and easy to get to. We played a round of disc golf and loved it. The course it laid out very well and it too is well maintained. Several benches to sit on along the way. Thanks for a great experience, you all rock!
Skiing, ice skating and sledding during the winter... And swimming, disc golf, and skate parks during the summer! It's really a one stop place for outdoor fun regardless of the season. There's hiking trails, there's amazing views, and friendly people. $5 lift tickets for the ski lift is worth it! And if you volunteer, you get a free ticket for each shift!
What a great place to ski! I will stop by every time I'm in Brattleboro. Friendly volunteers, great snow and you can't go wrong for $5 loft tickets.
