Launch Family Entertainment Park Westboro Reviews
Wonderful experience. We celebrated my son's birthday here this week. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The little kids in our group loved the play structure and even the teenagers all had a blast. Not all of the attractions were open when we went, and the Westborough branch itself is rather hard to get in touch with, but the positive and generous attitude of every worker I came into contact with more than made up for any imperfections. Would absolutely go again.
My toddler was almost severely injured because of loose padding & broken springs on one of the trampolines and fell to the concrete floor.nnWe were at Launch Westborough this past Sunday for toddler time when this happened. We had already been at the park for at least an hour and having a great time when unexpectedly my son fell through the corner of the dodgeball trampolines where there was supposed to be padding. Luckily, my son landed on some loose padding that seemed to be strategically placed on the floor and fortunately missed the concrete floor and the bolts sticking up.nnWe advised the crew & a manager came by immediately and then closed off that section of the park.nnFor this to happen was absurd. There’s no way you can have a hole in your trampoline at a trampoline park without warning signs or at the very least rope closing it off. My son could have cracked his head open on the concrete floor or even worse could have been impaled by one of the many bolts sticking up from the floor!nnThere should be daily even hourly checks going on throughout the park to ensure no child falls through.
We recently hosted a birthday party here. The kids had a blast with so many play options. But I found it to be stressful for the host/parent. Host a birthday party here only if you are able to take care of everything except party room set up and serving. The party coordinator doesn't help with anything other than setting up the party room and cleaning up later.nnCheck-in: No one is going to help your party group with the check-in. In our case, my husband and I were standing near the check in counter and guided the parents in our party group to scan the qr code, fill in the waiver and get the tag for their child to enter the trampoline area.nnTrampoline area: You are responsible for keeping an eye on the kids and their safety. Remember that your birthday party is not a private event like in jump nation. There will be other jumpers too. And since our party was on a weekend, the entire place was super crowded, and I had a hard time keeping track of around 20 kids who came to our party. Because there are so many areas where they can go and play. There was no staff from the launch seen in the play areas to ensure the kids were playing safe.nnParty room and food: You are responsible for keeping track of the one hour jump time and then bringing the group to the party room. The only good thing was that our party coordinator had set up the party room for us and took care of serving and cleaning up. They had also put up the party banner that we brought and arranged the goodie bags. The pizza served there was below average, but the kids didn't seem to mind as they were rushing to go to the arcade and play after the party.
My friend’s son recently had his party here and it definitely was a good time had by all! Best of all, there’s something for everyone. Gone are the days of just sitting and watching the kids play. It was interactive for all ages. Well worth the money and smiles on everyone’s faces! Would definitely recommend for a fun afternoon, evening or your next party!
Been here twice in the past few months for birthday parties with my kids. Very disappointed in the condition of the features.nTrampolines blocked off, a whole trampoline missing, padding falling off or missing, broken/missing locks in the bathroom, duck tape everywhere!nAdditionally the staff are very young and show no authoritative presence. Kids breaking rules and endangering other kids gets no comments or corrections from staff.nHalf of the arcade games were out of service as well.nThey are building a new feature in the middle which is great, but perhaps we should fix up what we have before we add more things. Seems like they are more concerned with making money than with safety. Eventually someone is going to get really hurt and all their waivers aren’t going to save them when the condition of their activities are poor.nYour money is better spend somewhere where your kids safety is a higher priority.nSee photos for reference.
