Great day out with the Grandkids! Lovely beach with gentle waves. Nice sand to play in. Great place.
Hudson River native, I never knew this place was so beautiful. It's cool to see the bricks that were once produced right down the way.
Great view at the end of the part from where the train track starts. A good trail walkway towards the train tracks. A must go for people visiting

Nice little beach on the Hudson. A picnic shelter & bathhouse are at the parking lot. There's a ballpark across the street & more picnicking close by with a covered shelter & lots of tables & benches...a lot of benches. You can take a walk along the old railroad tracks that hug the Hudson to take a look at the lighthouse in the middle of the river. Not clear if the tracks are still used. Maybe by the trolley museum close by? But there are picnic tables along this trail, too.
