Keystone Safari Reviews
This place was a blast. It was the first zoo I took my son to. It is small enough not to be over whelping but big enough to spend a decent amount of time. They have some food available (corn dogs, nachos, ice cream). They have a great array of animals. The drive-through portion was an awesome experience as well.
This was the best animal park/zoo I've been to yet. The space and habitats for the animals were large and clean. The animal interactions were one of a kind. The walk thru portion is flat and easy to navigate.nnWe went on a Friday evening in the fall for the Halloween event. We were able to feed and pet baby camels and baby llamas and a few other types. We fed a giraffe and saw her baby.nnWe took their new open air drive thru tour. The guide was top notch. We got to feed the permitted animals from the tour vehicle in designated spots and touch them as the animals allowed. The tour guide instructed us on how to interact and how to respect the animals. He was very informative about the animals and truly enjoyed his job which made our experience a good one.nnWe will definitely be coming back and I have been telling others about it.
I think this might be one of my favorite places on earth! For kids, the walk through area is likely better, but as an adult I prefer the drive thru. I also like asking for one empty feed bucket per passenger and then dumping about 1/4 of the bucket into the empty one. That way, if one of the animals steals your bucket (as they often do) you don't lose all your feed! I also recommend 3 buckets of feed per person in the car.
I usually don't support places like this but I got tickets half price. This place was pretty good. The animals looked decently happy and well cared for which is always a concern for me when supporting a zoo. I was pleasantly surprised! It's also pretty cool that the outlets are 3 minutes down the street.nMy kids are 11 and 12 and all of us had a really good time. They thought it was going to be lame.
Keystone safari is the best place for any age group. From toddler to kids to teens to adult everyone can enjoy here. They have different kind of tour's but we picked the foot one. Because we have a toddler and he loves to explore each and every thing.nFeeding the animals is the best activity. We feed lettuce to giraffe, carrots to reindeer and feeding to goats and llamas and zebras.nThey do have 2 big trampoline for kids to jump and that is free. Other than feeding the animals you can also watch different animals too there. They have icecream shop and other snacks inside the safari so no problem there. They do have nice store as well to buy the souvenir kind of stuff from there.nWe actually spent 4-5 hrs at this place and then near by to keystone safari there is a shopping complex which has all different kind of brand stores so we visited there as well. Overall the best place to spent a day.
