Playgrounds are updated and have plenty for any busy family. Lots to do, swimming pool has a slide. They even have a miniature BMX park. Great place to get your kids out. The people in the community are very friendly.
We walked around the pond and through the gardens. It is beautiful. You can fish or feed the ducks and geese. There is also an apothecary you can tour. I loved it.
A really nice park. There is plenty of open space, picnic tables, a mini-golf course, a pool, disk golf, and plenty of play areas for children. It also has a nice bike trail that is well marked. The rest rooms could use a make over but all in all this is a Frederick County treasure.
Nice..... very nice!nLots of picnic shelters, play areas, walking paths. Stopped to cook myself a brunch; not wanting to eat restaurant food today. Thoroughly enjoyable.

20230520 Discovered that this park has a disc golf area in the woods, a large circular trail with fitness station. All paved. Very dogfriendly and people here are very nice.nGreat spacious park with nice paved trails. Very clean. The Korean, MIA, and POW memorials are also there. The memorials are worth seeing. Dogfriendly too!!
