Really nice park, minutes away from Western Carolina University. It is clearly well taken care of. Good amount of parking. There are some nice walking trails that you can take. If you play Pokemon Go, this is a great location.
What a wonderful sports recreation complex! Fees are reasonable and really cheap for seniors!!!! Great exercise room with a good selection of exercise equipment.
I enjoy walking here much more than walking at The Greenway. Today (on a Friday), we arrived around 9:30 and walked for 2 hours. There were a total of 5 other people and 1 dog walking during that time.nnI also found out that a family gym membership for 5 people is only $350 per year. The Jackson County Recreation Complex facilities include too many things to list. You can stop by and pick up a brochure that provides all of the details.
Nice gym facilities, friendly staff, good exercise classes. Always clean. Kids like playground options. Lots of outside space for playing around. Disc golf is fun, but can sometimes be crowded/risky by people on walking trails.
Jackson County Recreation Center in Cullowhee NC is a local community Sports Complex. There are SoftBall fields,Soccer Fields, Little League Baseball Fields, a gym,and a fitness center with trainers and more to come. An Aquatic Center is planned for opening in 2024. This facility also provides a Voter Precinct for the Sylva and Cullowhee areas of Jackson County.nMemberships are required for the Fitness Center and the Ball Fields have food and Rest Room Facilities. There are no other public fitness facilities available in this area of North Carolina.nIt's a great place to watch your kids play sports and get yourself in shape!!
