J F Gregory City Park Reviews
It's a large and well maintained park. The trail is nice and it's cool due to the shade provided by tall trees. It was great to walk with my dog. When walking along the creek, you can see Alligators(not often), turtles, small crabs and snakes... Many people were running, walking or riding bicycles. The park has a wide lawn where you can enjoy a picnic, and everything is peaceful. I will definitely be back!
A very nice public park with walking paths over 1 mile long as well as plenty of open space. Dogs allowed, on leash, in park open area and nature trails. Another strong PLUS for Richmond Hills GA.
Great park located in a great town, the walking trail is about 3 miles long scenic and surprisingly well maintained. There are alligators on the trail, but not where they would be a threat to safety but great to view. The playground area and bathrooms were clean and well maintained and the veterans memorial was absolutely beautiful. The community really does utilize the park, and I noticed all walks of life enjoying the amenities. There was something for every age group. I highly recommend a nice sat/sun picnic you will not be disappointed.
Large playground area for children, with fence, soft surface and modern play equipment. Lots of large umbrella to protect children from the sun, including all the toddler play structure.nnFree parking adjacent, many benches and picnic tables.nn2 baby swings 2 kid swings.nnOnly downside is that they park is within wetlands so lots of small flies
Great park! They hold their yearly seafood festival which is amazing for the entire family. Lovely play area for the kids with restrooms. You can hear and see the train pass by there. Some people go fishing near the stream. There’s a walking trail in the back near the wetland center.
