Fun for the kids, both of my boys (11 and 14 years old) thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Mr. Aubrey managed several kids well, and he took his time to ensure the kids were comfortable in the wind tunnel.nnWell done, Aubrey!
It was an amazing experience, but if you're doing a group package and think the pictures or videos will be amazing-- be warn they aren't, so have either someone not flying be the designated photographer for the group. The videos only capture the first 20 seconds which is usually when you're trying to get comfortable with the flight so they don't capture your best moments of flight. However outside of media - the actual experience is awesome. The instructors are great.nnDo note that anyone over 300lbs can't fly and anyone over 260lbs will need 2 instructors.
I brought my boyfriend here as a part of his birthday present. Overall it was a lot of fun and a great experience but it was poorly organized. There was a lot of people and you have to go in groups but everyone gets their individual fly time so you have to wait for a while. I also didn't like all the up selling they did at the front desk. As soon as you walk through the door they try to charge extra for every little thing. Our instructor Alex was amazing. He was very friendly and made the experience a lot of fun for us.
We had a great time at IFLY. We completed our waiver before we arrived so check-in was quick and easy. We weighed in and then picked up our helmets, goggles, jump suites, and earplugs. We placed our things in the locker and waited for our flight instructions to begin. Our instructor was Alex. He was really laid back and made us all feel comfortable. We had a great time flying and will request him again! I look forward to hanging my certificate and learning new skills. This was so much fun. I think I have found my new hobby.
I brought my son here to use a gift certificate and he had an amazing time flying. The instructor was great. However, I decided to add on the high flight option and that's where everything went wrong. This option comes with a, upgraded helmet, 1 video, and 1 picture. I had previously added an image to my purchase when I booked online so I should have received an updated voucher via email to retrieve my video and photos but did not. My issue is communication. No one explained how to retrieve these items. I had to ask the instructor how we get the video and images who then gave me a card with the directions to download. I also think that companies need to focus on their follow through efforts as much as they focus on their upselling efforts. If you want customers to come back again and share how great this experience was you've got to focus on the customer, instead of trying to get us to give you more money.
