Absolutely live this tower. Several easy hiking trails lead up to the tower around the Montpelier area near the Capitol.
Great place for hiking! Climb the tower for an awesome view! Check out the vernal pools and the dog park. There is a bathroom at the tower.
Really nice hike with views of Montpelier, and the surrounding mountains. Not too long, fairly steep uphill hike, but the views are reward enough! Hike down to the State House on Saturday morning to reward your hungry hikers with a treat from the farmers market.

Great local park with miles of hiking trails. Dog friendly. Hike to the top and see a historic stone observation tower that provides great views of the Forrest and mountains beyond.
