Harbour Town Lighthouse Reviews
This was a beautiful experience, loved it! It's fun and yo explore on your own or with the family. It is worth the hike up to the top of the lighthouse for the beautiful view ocean breeze, plus there are places to stop and rest along the way up! I would definitely recommend this
It was so pretty. Its not overly crowded now..The weather was perfect. We could see sail boats, shrimp boats on the ocean..We climbed to the top. There is alot of History on each landing to enjoy. It's worth the visit.
Small little charming place. But be prepared to bring some cash with you, as a lot places didn’t take cards, but there are ATM’s all over the place. Very nice scenic views on the way in. We paid $9 cash only at the gate to get in, it said for parking. But we could not find a parking slot, after going around and around for 10 minutes and it was hot! We ended up paying $10 for valet Parking (cash), which was a little far from the actual central area. We also paid $5.95 per person to climb the lighthouse. There a lot of historical pictures and stuff throughout the lighthouse on the way up. Once up at the top we took great pictures and enjoyed the scene. The pier was also nice to walk on and take pictures. That made it worth it. The place has a lot of small shops and restaurants. We had lunch at the Crazy Crab, food was good. Make sure you stay hydrated if you’re visiting in a hot summer day though. I totally recommend this if you need to take a break from the beach.
Just in November, this is a nice place to visit. Nice shops. Crazy Crab restaurant was very nice.. The lighthouse presents the iconic setting.. Sadly view partially blocked by new market/ Restaurant.nNote $9 fee to enter the harbor area.
Cost $9 to enter the Sea Pines division and $6.50 to climb the 114 steps to the top. It started raining so the top deck was closed. Parking is extremely limited. Almost impossible to find parking near the Lighthouse. Beautiful views and the area is nice. Very clean and well kept. Would be nice to spend the day there and visit the shops and other areas.
