Great Escape Adventures Reviews
I enjoy going in and looking at the amazing selection of games offered here. The people who work here are knowledgeable about many different games. If your looking for trading cards games, board games, table top games and many more this is the place to come.
Such a unique store. Has put me on the path of finding some of my most favorite games!
During my stay in Corning I was in need of citadel paints and luckily this great hobby shop is in nearby Horseheads. The young man who worked there was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, and had a great reading recommendation for me. I paint Warhammer and found that GEA had a nice selection of models and supply of paints.
We had my son’s 10th birthday party here and all the kids (and parents) had a blast! Super fun and very detailed. We enjoyed the creativity and solving all the puzzles. I have a feeling we will be doing it again soon!
Been a long time customer of GEA for about 8 years now. In my opinion it feels as though things dropped off after Covid happened. That being said, being a patron for that long has no leeway with the staff in any way whatsoever. My last visit I bought some card packs and cracked some of them. I wanted to return what I did not open, but once again they are very strict about having a receipt. I never get one because I like to think I’m helping not cutting down trees. Which is maddeningly annoying because I’ve been a customer for so long (no exaggeration I have spent thousands of dollars at a time at this store and that’s the only time I’ve ever felt my sense of customer loyalty mean anything) and it was just the previous day when I made my purchase. I can tell you exactly how much it costs and show you the transaction statement from my bank. I can tell you the clerks name and what time I came in. Trust me, i doubt people usually return packs of cards unless they’re desperate. It will be unlikely that I return to the store. Maybe offer receipts digitally emailed?
