Glenolden Park Reviews
Nice play area for the toddlers. My toddlers enjoyed a lot as they were able to see, interact and play with a lot of similar age kids. You can find other elder kids as well. It's lovely to see kids of different ages playing. This is the only top rated play area near my community.
The playground here is amazing! We got there at 2pm and had the place pretty much to ourselves. My 4 year old found a few other 4 year olds to okay with and they had a great time. Around 3:30/4pm older kids from the nearby schools swarmed in so it was more crowded and we kept a closer eye on our smaller kids. The older kids also seemed to love the playground and we only had a minor issue with one older kid that we were close enough to clear up. Highly recommend this place!! The street parking was good as well.
Glenolden Park is a nice place to go to spend some time in a small, quiet piece of nature. I go there occasionally and bring my camera since there may be an opportunity to photograph a hawk flying overhead or up in the trees.nThere are benches along paved walkways and a gazebo where you can relax. Picnic tables are available.nOn the other side of the park you will find a ball field and an playground area for children.nThe Glenolden Library is located across the street from the park entrance.nThe park is small and has a little something for everyone. It's a very nice place to visit.
A wonderful Family place, with all kinds of things to do , picnic, play on the park gym, baseball, soccer, football, even hiking. I loved growing up with this park and now Our kids, and Grandkids will too.
Just a beautiful walking park with plenty of areas to both walk and also enjoy the beautiful vista's! They also have 4 beautiful swings if you would like to take a break... If it hadn't started raining, I would have never left. If you would like a good workout, the walking trails are expansive and have plenty of inclines and level changes which will provide both an excellent walking workout and also a challenge! My advice, don't miss this park!
