Funzy Play Reviews
This place is literally filthy!nStaff clearly don’t clear nor do the enforce any rules. Also a child came here and peed all over the ball pit and slide and no one took the initiative to clean it nor tell the family they had to go after the accident! Plugs are exposed and the toys are broken and clearly unclean! This place needs a make over and new staff!
I recently visited Funzy Play with high hopes of providing an enjoyable and safe experience for my young children. Unfortunately, my visit turned out to be a significant disappointment, marred by uncleanliness and unsafe conditions that compromised the well-being of my little ones.nnUpon entering the play area, I immediately noticed the condition of the mats. To my dismay, they were incredibly dirty, with visible grime and stains covering the surface. Regrettably, this negligence in maintaining cleanliness was evident when my 1-year-old started crawling, and I discovered that their knees had turned black from the filthy mats. This was both distressing and unsanitary, leaving a lasting negative impression on my overall experience.nnEven more concerning was the fact that the mats were in a state of disrepair. Numerous sections were lifting, creating uneven surfaces that posed a significant hazard to children. Sadly, both of my kids fell while playing due to the inadequate condition of the mats. It is truly disheartening to witness such a lack of attention to safety, as the primary purpose of a children's play place should be to provide a secure environment for kids to explore and have fun.nnMoreover, the lack of proper maintenance raises questions about the commitment of the establishment to ensuring a clean and safe play environment. It is crucial for such facilities to prioritize regular cleaning and upkeep to prevent any potential harm or discomfort to young visitors.nnAs a parent, my utmost priority is the well-being and happiness of my children. I expect children's play places to meet certain standards of cleanliness and safety, and unfortunately, this particular establishment failed to deliver on both fronts. The combination of dirty mats that caused my child's knees to become black and the hazardous conditions resulting from the lifting mats has left me deeply dissatisfied.nnI sincerely hope that the management takes immediate action to rectify these issues and invests in the necessary improvements. For the sake of the children's well-being and the reputation of the establishment, it is imperative that they address the cleanliness concerns and prioritize the safety of their young visitors.nnIn light of my disappointing experience and the compromised safety of my children, I cannot recommend this children's play place to other parents. It is essential to prioritize the health and safety of our little ones and choose establishments that reflect these values.
I’ve been coming here since this place opened years ago. It has really gone downhill.nTheres not much lighting in the play area so it’s pretty dark. The ball pit, if you move the balls over so you can see the floor, you can see is covered in dirt and grime and band aids, socks, I even found old masks. It used to have a cool game you could play on the projector but it hasn’t been functional in years.nYou can just see how visibly dirty the place is, too. Handprints and dirt all over the walls (if you’re running a children’s space, you should really use high gloss paint so it’s easier to clean…) every single fabric surface is filthy, nothing has been replaced or updated pre-Covid. The bathroom has this disgusting floor mat on it that appears to have never been cleaned. It has been there since they opened, too, so I am actually fairly confident that they think throwing a floor mat down means you don’t have to clean it??nIt’s unfortunate because this is one of the only indoor play spaces around here but it’s so gross I think this will be our final visit…
We love this place just annoyed that they close the place on any day and not update anywhere on Google/insta. Had my baby all ready to go when they closed it while Google was showing it open and no notification on insta were shared. The picture shows that some party people carrying props waiting outside the door and us in car! So make sure to prepare beforehand with your little ones! Like I said, we love this place, just it lacks professionalism on ad-hoc closure notice.
UPDATE:nnBooked via kidpass and was unable to attend due to my child falling ill. Staff where unhelpful stating that they “don’t take anything to do with kidpass” which is utter nonsense and kidpass didn’t do anything as the cancellation period is 24hrs in advance. A number which is set by the provider! In this case funzy play.nnAlso, where unwilling to let me come another day to make up the session I paid for! Will not be back ever again after this horrible experience.nn——————-nnVery cute area perfect for cold rainy weather.nnLots of space with stroller parking, coats and shoes. Remember socks though.nnNice climbing area with a couple of slides and ball pit.
