Frozen Ropes Reviews
Frozen Ropes in Chester was a place I was trying to bring my Softball Organization to for years. We are from Canada and COVID prevented us from attending Frozen Ropes tournament for a few years now. Black Bears Girls Youth Softball has been partnered with Frozen Ropes for over 4 yrs now. I cannot express enough how fortunate we are to be associated with Frozen Ropes and Tony Abbatine and his team. If you’re wanting to change the direction of your program or child. I strongly recommend reaching out to Tony and his team. They are first class in what they do.nnSincerely,nnRob MoorenPresidentnBlack Bears Girls Youth Softball
I’ve played for Frozen Ropes for many years and it has helped me started my collegiate softball career. The coaches and staff here have always been so helpful and amazing even while working as a camp counselor here during the summer. Having the opportunity to coach younger athletes who are also pursuing a baseball/softball career is always amazing. While I’m home from college during the breaks it is always my go-to place to workout and get some extra reps in, and still receive some pointers by Tony himself or other coaches. Great facility and even greater staff!
My daughter played on Tony Abbatine's 18U gold team for over 3 years. My daughter was on the same team as Tony's daughter and you could never tell which player on the team was his daughter. He ran the Team like a D1 College softball program. My daughter credits Tony with preparing her to be able to play softball at the D1 Level. My daughter always told me Tony, was one of the best coaches she ever had.
Growing up I played at frozen ropes for years. From private lessons to playing on their travels teams. I can say with certainty that the time I spent training here taught me the most in my softball career and made me in to the player and coach I am today. One of my favorite coaches growing up is now my co-worker and has been there since the beginning, Mike Bertotti. Tony is one of the most knowledgeable people you can find. His dedication to bettering players is remarkable. Working at this facility has been one of the best things I’ve decided to do. I recommend everyone trust that their child will be a better player/person after training at the rock.
During the summer, my daughter had a fantastic time at Frozen Ropes, where she alternated between softball and all sports. Throughout her time there, she acquired new skills, formed new friendships, and thoroughly enjoyed herself. She's already expressed her desire to return for the next summer. We're grateful for the staff's efforts in creating a memorable first year at summer camp for her.
