This month, I had the fun of flying with Florida Adventure Sports. The 20-minute trip was given to me as a gift, and I have to admit that I was kind of scared about going up in this light aircraft. But, the minute I met the pilot, Gene, and my fear disappeared. He's an experienced, knowledgeable pilot - and he obviously enjoys living! The flight was fun from the easy takeoff to the easy landing. It was wonderful to see our home island from the air and to experience flying at about 1200 ft in the midst of beautiful skies. Florida Adventure Sports does longer flying experiences, too, and I will certainly book one. Anyone who lives on Amelia Island should see it from this vantage point. Anyone visiting Amelia Island should take advantage of one of the most enjoyable, exciting experiences that you can have here.
It was amazing I am going to do this with them again and again. They were professional, understanding ,and explained everything clearly. I give them 10 stars and hats off to Aaron my jump man, oh yeah ladies he is the best
My wife brought me here for my birthday and it was the most fun I’ve had to date. Gene was awesome and the flight was phenomenal. I can’t wait until we’re back in town to do this again. I would definitely recommend.
My husband surprised me with this fun adventure for our honeymoon! We were both nervous because we’re scared of heights but Gene was SO knowledgeable, and made it so easy. It was a blast and we’re so thankful we did it!! He was super personable and even gave us a ride back to our house we’re staying at because we couldn’t find an Uber! You won’t regret coming here and you’ll be treated like family and have a great time! 10/10 recommend!!
A truly amazing experience that I HIGHLY recommend! The experience of flying an Ultralight Aircraft is truly like riding a motorcycle in the sky! Gene the pilot was great in every way! He guided me through flying on my own to the history as we flew into Georgia and explored Cumberland Island, found wild horses and was able to see the remains of the Dungeness mansion. Not to mention swooping down to the beaches, seeing all the sea life and waving to all the people! Thank you Gene and Florida Adventure Sports for making my birthday a memory I will never forget!
