I was hoping for a little more variety. Not too many farmers present. I did get a taste of some really good, high quality Olive Oil and Balsamic vinegar and I walked away with a beautiful cucumber.
Got a lot of goodies... Swiss Chard, Zucchini, Summer Squash, Eggplant, Carrots... even got some Korean Kimchi Pork Sausage and some Mexican Street Corn Pork Sausage!
My favorite place to go on Tuesdays when I'm not working! Everyone is so friendly, and I deeply enjoy supporting local farmers, growers, and the likes. Definitely stop by if you're in town, they usually have a very nice selection of veggies, breads, honey, oils, yogurts, mushrooms and more. I'm looking forward to picking stuff up tomorrow!
I am a big fan of farmer's markets and always try to go. This market is much better if you get there close to opening.nThese markets have a reputation of being expensive but with inflation this is less true. It is not unusual to find something below supermarket prices. And better quality. I like being able to purchase only a small quantity. The market is also good for trying something new. Usually the farmer or someone in line can help with an idea or recipe.nI would love to see the market grow and get bigger
Fantastic market with many options for fruits, veg, spices, and other handmade goods. everyone was friendly and helpful. booths were clean, accessible and easy to shop. prices are reasonable and they accept WIC/SNAP
