They have 3 different playgrounds here ...one of them being a large wooden kids castle area, another being a modern one with a small rock climbing area. They also have a very nice splash pad area that the kids had a blast playing in and cooling off from the hot sun....with an ice cream truck that came through too!😁🤗
Some aspects are old and beat up, and others are completely unusable. I didn't know it was this bad or we wouldn't have visited. There's poop on the slide, too. Also, the bathrooms are closed, and the only portopotty is locked from the inside. I do not recommend coming here.
Really good and huge playground with a lot of shades provided by trees.
We love this place and stop by every time we pass by.nBut we don't like the kids in this playground. Some kids just kept chasing my kid and made him fall down and got hurt.nCertainly won't recommend this playground anymore.

The playground itself is SO much fun. There's a ton of variety of things to climb on, slide down, hide in. The splash park here is an amazing addition for hot days. There's ample covered picnic areas, a beautiful creek and walkway, and plenty of spots for kids to play.nnMy reason for 3 stars? I don't feel safe. There's unfortunately a large drug problem in downtown Front Royal, and this park seems to gather a bit of unsavory characters. I've seen someone overdose, there's been cops that had to escort people who are too high to walk out of the area, I've seen drug deals done right at the splash park. I refuse to come here without my husband because I just don't feel safe.
