For the nearby residents of both Charles Town and Ranson, Evitts Run Park has a bit of everything for the casual visitor. From playgrounds to walking paths, and the creek to basketball courts. By far, I'm actually really impressed with the playground here. Two separate playgrounds are offered, with the differences being stark and clearly meant for two different age groups. The playground for older children offers engaging and well-designed equipment that makes climbing fun. Even as a young adult, I can vouch for its being enjoyable
Nice little park to stroll through near the historic downtown area in Charles Town.
Great park for all ages. My daughter's favorite, for its layout, location, and she almost always finds a nice playmate there too. The park is kept clean and equipment is in good working condition as well as safe.
The jungle gym has lots of high quality ropes. Great park for kids. Also has a stream and a road running through it. The stream is also great for kids, the road not so much. Basket ball courts, swings, picnic tables and a pavilion are also there.
