Fun times at public skate. And five years later.
Great skating facility! They also have skate rental for $4. Public skating is $4 as well. I don't have children but I like that they have the skating assist(stacked milk crates) free of charge. I just wish they watched the little kids to keep them going in the same direction as everyone else. I also think it would be a great idea to have a punch card for people that go a lot like 10 skates for 1 price.

The Essex Skating Rink is always wonderful. I take my children there for public skate almost every weekend. The one blonde girl working the register every weekend is always super friendly with my kids and is open to helping them out. The rink provides an excellent family experience.
Nice joint, retty busy when I was there but still plenty of room for a rookie like myself.
