Absolutely worth the stop!nnWe took the pontoon over, and the tram back - and highly recommend others do too. Our boat guide, Nick, was very informative.nnHippo, manatees, panther, bobcat, eagle, osprey, what more can you ask for.nnThe underwater observatory was cool and will be even cooler when they replace the glass.nn5

Great park - really affordable, knowledgeable and friendly staff and guides. Lots of animals and an under water manatee observation exhibit where you can see manatees in the wild just hanging around the spring to get warm.nnThere’s a small boat tour option down a creek, tram to get you from one section to another and then lots of walking around the animal exhibits if you choose to take them all in.
Very affordable family fun! Manatees rest around the fishbowl overnight on the cool nights. Lu is awesome! 6000 lbs of hippo show. All native wildlife (Lu is legally a Florida resident). Flamingos, pelicans, whooping cranes, Florida panther and more!
Great state park with a lot to see. Bost ride was pleasant and the park scenery is beautiful. Being able to see many native Florida animals is cool, especially Florida panther which is very rare and endangered. Nice gift shops and little restaurant.
Wonderful State park. Beautifully maintained and very informative. Great adventure for kiddos and lovely to see all of the Florida Native Wildlife. As well as the honorary Florida resident, Lu the 63 year old hippo! We were there for the art walk which had a beautiful display of watercolor works from local artists which we enjoyed checking out as well.
