DEFY Short Pump

My kids had fun. Staff is very nice and kind. Place is clean and tidy.

May your bounce be high and fun even higher. First time there for a bday party and was impressed. Lots to jump on or off! Great for parties. Staff is young but fun.

I’m beyond disappointed with my visit at DEFY today. I would say more than half of the activities were closed. They should’ve remained closed until all the areas are fixed and operational. For the prices of the tickets this is unacceptable.

Went here with 3 years old and it is a good place for toddlers but it could be harmful as I experienced as the manager did not make people follow the rules to keep kids safe. Almost 6 feet tall white man was playing with shoes in the blocks area with his kids throwing stuff, that created danger for small feet of a toddler to be stomped, when I brought that to manager’s attention, the manager argued with me that it was ok in the block area, while instructions clearly stated to remove shoes. I took the photo of instructions and showed that to the manager and he gave away free socks to that man while I was asked to purchase socks sold by them even though I had very similar barre class socks with me. I clearly could see how people are treated differently here by unconscious racial bias of an unskilled manager. The manager can benefit from training of how to keep all kids safe and how to treat people equally. I would surely think twice before going here if they will not take necessary steps.

It was well staffed, but not well organized. Spent a large amount of money for a party for 18 and it was stated that they provide plates and cups with the party for food you have to purchase in house. They stated they ran out of cups so we are pouring drinks into old water bottles….and they asked us prior for what color for the plates to match the theme but at the event they ran out of those colors. Their only response was “we run out” with no effort to fix it. They provide Defy labeled water bottles with expired coupons inside and didn’t provide the included shirt that was part of our package. They asked if we wanted to tip the party helper and still didn’t address our issues or concerns. We still tipped cause it wasn’t the poor kids fault, but overall feel it’s a bit of scam. Also, some obstacles where closed and not maintained.
