DEFY Hickory Reviews
Staff are friendly and helpful. They do a great job. Not 5 stars because the price of the Gatorade is crazy, and it needs to be deep cleaned. Overall, we have always enjoyed our visit to the Hickory location. The staff in hickory is the best. They are informative and knowledgeable about the questions that I had.
It's overall not a bad price if you do the membership option. Food is a little expensive, nothing unusual. Don't like that they have so many 1 person at a time trampolines, bigger kids run the entire dodge ball area& it seems rules aren't being enforced. I feel there could be a little more to do but overall, the kids all enjoyed it & had fun.
We brought a visiting group of seven Romanian children. They loved it and had a great time. My observation, as with most businesses these days, is that they are woefully understaffed. Getting checked in was arduous: one newly hired young lady trying her best to manage all check-ins is unacceptable. We also lost a lot of our time at the concessions window. All the kids (who will be here another month) want to come back; but, being the one paying the bill, I will have to weigh all that against other options.nnUpdate: After getting an owner response to my review, I tried to reach out through the contact info that was posted; but I never received a reply.
Brought our 3 young ones today.. Because we are celebrating one of their birthdays, the young ladies, Tionne and Dionne (sp?) that checked us in took really good care of us. Very friendly. For that reason, I'm leaving this review. Kindness goes along way folks.!
Wouldn't honor a punch card that didn't have an expiration date and we were not advised of an expiration date when purchasing. Took several tries to contact corporate via the website with no response and eventually received an e-mail address to engage with their social media team where I was told I was out of luck. Very disappointing experience. It wouldn't have cost them anything to honor the punch cards and they already had my money for them. Truly, it's not how you treat a customer and gain supporters in the community.
