Very convenient park with swimming pool. Great place for kids to enjoy park with swimming pool and picnic area.
Took my grand babies to the pool. It’s very clean and life guards pay close attention to all swimmers. They have fun slides for the older kids and slide for the littler ones too. They have a nice play area for the lil kids with fun mushrooms that spill water over. Fun for all. We had a blast and will be going back very soon. Also they have a lot of picnic tables. And play park with slides and Mary go round. Seesaws which is my grand sons favorite. Also have handicapped swings for children who are unable to use regular swings. Bathroom on sight and not a port a potty.
Normally go to the Stroudsburg pool, where I pay the fee as a resident. Since they are alternating days open, I took my grandson to the pool in Dansbury Park. Unfortunately, I was charged as a non-resident.nBesides the pricing difference, we both enjoyed the pool & we're very happy they were open - especially since it was so hot that day, and the only day that week it didn't rain! If they go back to charging me as a resident (as they have for the last 6 yrs), I may just buy the season pass again.nPool and surrounding area is very clean, and everyone respects each other's belongings. All-in-all, we had a blast!
Our family stopped by this park while visiting family in Pennsylvania. It has a large area filled with picnic tables, 2 sets of playground equipment, a skate park, a basketball court, a baseball diamond, and a public pool. Our family loved walking on the trail that looked over the creek. There was plenty of room to run for the kids. I imagine this park gets busy during the summer months. We went off-season and there was a good number of parents and children there.
Nice park with a lot of amenities! They had a camp going on while I visited the park and it was well run. The kids were having fun and the counselors were very attentive to each group they were in charge of. The park was clean of garbage and the grounds were maintained nicely.
