I sometimes get around with people. The people at Damascus community center staff do not know how to treat people fairly. The white manager but I never saw before who claims he saw me said he'd appreciate that I keep my mouth shut and never and gave me a warning this manager should be retrained or fired. I will never go to Damascus community center again
This is a very move park where my kids play Lacrosse. Today I noticed that someone threw a ton of trash on the playground instead of in the trash can. This is super not cool whoever did that. My kids and I cleaned it up before we left. It’s a shame people would leave dirty diapers on the ground.

Couldn't believe the amount of open space the recreation center occupies. Recreation center is good with decent size gyms for the community. The open space is awesome with trails for hiking and field sports. Scenary in fall is spectacular.
This is a clean, spacious and well equipped recreation facility - free for kids under 18 and seniors. The gym is underutilized considering the low fee of $60.00 six-month membership. There is a party room for members, with a fee. Staff members are nice and helpful. Know that at closing at 9 pm everyone must leave the building, even if the kids are waiting outside in the cold and dark evening because the alarm must be set.nNext to the gym building is a childrens' playground with soft top, a baseball field and a large open field
I have been to this building multiple times, but the first time was actually back in the mid 2000’s as a juvenile. As of this year, everything still seems to be intact.
