Crane Point Hammock Reviews
Must do if in marathon!nTrolley tour was fantastic and free of charge. Guide was able to provide us with a lot of things we would have missed otherwise. Afterwards you can walk all the trails you want.nCall ahead the day of to see what times the trolley is running a it’s volunteers only.
Driving back to Ft. Lauderdale passing through Marathon and decided to make a random stop. This was nice and informative. Everyone was so polite here as well. I would recommend doing the tour over walking as the tour will take you through the whole trail faster.
Crane Piint Hammock is a lovely preservation of native Florida Keys plants and animals built along meandering and often shaded nature trails. There are many beautiful flowering plants, fields of butterflies along creeks and shoreline. There are several preserves homes representing how people lived over the course of many years. One fun and unexpected activity was the fish pedicure where dozens of fish nibble at your toes cleaning them. It's was a delightful and slightly ticklish experience.
Nice place. Has nice, well manicured trails.nThere is a place to let minnows nibble your feet. Small museum to walk through.
Loved it!nThe guide Ronnie took us around, explaining everything, he was extremely kind!nThe place is big, I recommend going around with a guide: you get to know many things and it's perfect if you cannot walk for long, because they are carrying you aroundnIt is possible to bring your own food and have lunch in the park. It is nice to chill there, the museum is well done both for kids and adults.nWe were lucky enough to see raccoons and different kind of fish!nYou can walk in the shadows all day, so it is great when the temperature is high.
