Correa’s palmeto Park Reviews
Palmetto park is pretty nice and serene. A very nice park to walk and relax. I have seen some fishing here. I can't recall if I've seen any picnic tables. There is a gazebo where you sit and just enjoy the scenery. And people and duck watch. My dog and I really enjoy this park.
This place supports local and international youth group sports, i.e., tennis, baseball, jogging, walking, ride a bike, skateboard, scooter, playground area for small children including swings for disabled children. It is very well maintained and conveniently located. There is also a water park during summer months for everyone. I enjoy watching my grands having fun on the slides and just running around being children.
Lots of picnic tables and benches. 3 or 4 playgrounds. Play area is gated. Bathrooms are in the play area. Theres also a small splash area (not working yet) Plenty of parking near the playground.nI ticked off a star because the girls bathroom (at least) smelled absolutely rotten. Well no wonder why because somehow someone didn't keep it all in the toilet. There was splattter all inside the toilet and on the wall/floor next to the toilet.nThe bathrooms could use cleaning more often.nThe other thing is the playground could use some sort of partial shade. There are lots of slides that get really hot.nThis playground is good for ages 2-10
A lovely family park with plenty of shade and seating. The splash pad is small but my kids enjoyed playing in it. Nice touch having all the amenities combined in one playground. Close proximity to both baseball fields and tennis courts. Perfect for squirmy littles who can't sit on a bleacher for too long.
The park has always been a great place for kids to play baseball. Well maintained.
