Nice shaded park for short walks. Handicap accessible, bike rack by the entrance, playground equipment in the center. Many split paths & well maintained, great for dog walking. I would recommend applying bug spray.
Really enjoyed this little park nestled amongst copses of pine and quaking aspen. Not much to the park but it feels very peaceful and abundant with nature. The playground is unique and designed to blend in with the environment. Bummer there's no parking or really any indication that the park is there. Also it doesn't seem to connect to nearby streets or market street area which would create an easy way to walk/bike to shopping. Hopefully that's in the plans tho.

Cute little park hidden away from the hustle & bustle of town. I love all the old fashioned natural play equipment and the trails. Plus the gardens are beautiful, I saw lots of birds and butterflies.
The park can be accessed from Iby and Barrett Street. There is a disabled parking space at the Iby Street entrance and a map at the Barrett Street one. The park is a few trails around a big playground in a forest clearing. The setting is beautiful and as the pants grow will change over time. All the play structures are wooden blending nicely into the surroundings. There is a generous number of benches surrounding the playground. Just south of the main playground in another small area with a wooden play fort. This is fun!
I loved this little park. Super quaint trails lead to fun hidden plaground areas and little log forts for the kids. Could possibly use a couple more adult benches near the swirl fort. It could also benefit from a couple trash cans and a restroom. But otherwise, this is defintiely somewhere i want to go back again and again.
